IDEA #7 :- Play video games and earn money online

Play video games and earn money online:-

While many may think video games are a waste of time, it’s a hobby that can actually turn a profit. And there’s nothing more home-based than sitting on your couch in front of your TV.

Esports and video game streaming platforms like Twitch have opened the door for gamers to gain notoriety—and eventually money—from their talents. The esports industry alone is worth more than $1.5 billion, and a Twitch streamer can get up to 100,000 viewers at a time.

Six ways :-

1) Quality assurance tester video games

=> A games tester is someone who works for video game production companies to thoroughly test video games before the final version is released to the public. They must then play the game a number of times, from start to finish, in order to uncover bugs or glitches within the game.

Much of QA(Quality Assurance) work is contract work, so don't expect to get rich. But it still could pay between $10 and $15 an hour, and that's better than your average minimum-wage job.

2) Become a Professional Gamer

=>If you are serious about games, then focus on your skills and improve them. Don’t focus on tier, rank, level etc. Improve your gameplay then your tier, level and rank will automatically increase. Gaming industry is increasing and numbers of player everyday.

We are going to focus on these skills and their ways

  • Improve reaction time and speed
  • Improve aim.
  • Recoil
  • Mind game
  • Coordination

3) Join Twitch

=> Twitch, a live streaming video platform, is a subsidiary of Twitch Interactive, which was acquired by Amazon  (AMZN) - Get Report in 2014 for $970 million. Twitch was, in 2014, the fourth largest source of internet traffic in the U.S. Twitch has a "Partner Program" that pays partners $3 for every 1,000 ad views; $5 a month for every subscriber and, combining it with sponsorships, Amazon referral links, and PayPal - Get Report donations, gamers can start to build both their audience and their income.

Twitch launched an Affiliate Program in 2017, to allow smaller channels to generate revenue.

4) Contact Sponsors

=> After you get a following for your stream, whether it's on YouTube, Twitch or elsewhere, to generate more revenue you will likely want to contact sponsors - just as, in the past, television producers used to seek sponsors for programs.

To acquire sponsors, the first thing you need to do is prepare to impress them. Next, search for brands that you like, that might want to sponsor you. Consider as well: would you, or do you, use their product?

Next, find who in that company do you want to notice you? Use social media to find them, or to help them find you.

And remember, you're not trying to sell them anything; you're trying to convince them that you can bring value to them or their product

5) Stream your Gameplay Online

=> If you are a regular gamer, you may play certain games exceptionally well. You might also know the tips and tricks to get bonus points or unlock new features.

If so, you can easily stream your gameplay online, and there are ways to profit while doing it.

Either you can upload your videos to your Youtube channel, as we suggested before, or you can stream your gameplay on Twitch.

Twitch is an online platform where gamers meet up and share their gaming techniques, tricks, and expertise with friends across the globe.

Not only will you find an appropriate audience for your streaming on this site, but you can also get paid for it directly through the platform.

6) Provide Game Play Tutorials

=> You can even make money producing tutorials on how to play video games. Your YouTube channel or streaming site will earn money with every person that clicks on it. Advertisers pay Google, for instance, to display ads on videos. Google, a division of Alphabet, owns YouTube.

To start, open an account at AdSense, and link it to your YouTube account. Choose whether you want video or banner ads to display.
